This home is a transformation masterpiece, designed to exude happiness and embody the essence of a timeless farmhouse. Catering to a family of three, the space has been thoughtfully designed to reflect the joyful personalities of the owners, Vanice and Hanson. Their infectious positivity and Vanice's affinity for yellow and sage green have inspired "A Bubbly Origin," a design that seamlessly integrates these elements to create a cozy and harmonious living environment.
Design Philosophy and Key Features:
1. Infusion of Happiness:
The primary goal was to infuse every corner of the home with elements that evoke happiness. This was achieved through the strategic use of colors, shapes, patterns, and textures. The palette prominently features light and bright colors, with yellow and sage green playing pivotal roles in creating a joyful ambiance.
2. Practical and Harmonious Storage Solutions:
To maintain a clutter-free and harmonious environment, we extended the storage cabinet from the bomb shelter wall. This provides ample storage solutions, ensuring the space remains clean and organized, which is fundamental to a happy home.
3. Bright and Lively Spaces:
The yard area has been cordoned off with fluted glass, allowing natural light to flow freely while keeping the space visually clean. This design choice ensures that even functional areas like the laundry yard do not detract from the overall bright and lively atmosphere of the home.
4. Play of Shapes, Patterns, and Textures:
A deliberate blend of various shapes, patterns, and textures adds a touch of whimsy and excitement. Rounded edges are used extensively to soften and lighten the space, creating a welcoming and friendly environment. We have also consistently picked a series of light and bright colors to further enhance the joyful feel of the space.
5. Curated Furniture Pieces:
One of the standout elements is the dining area, featuring a dining table with a playful leg design and mismatched yet cohesive dining chairs. This combination embodies fun and lightness, while the interesting textures of the chairs add depth and character to the space.
6. Biophilic Design:
We have also incorporated elements of biophilic design throughout the home. Nature-inspired tiles and wallpaper have been intentionally used to bring a touch of the outdoors inside.
In essence, "A Bubbly Origin" is more than just a home; it is a manifestation of happiness and timeless elegance. Each design decision, from color choices to furniture selection, has been made with the intention of bringing smiles to the faces of Vanice, Hanson, and their family. The result is a living space that not only meets their functional needs but also resonates with their joyful spirit.
